Since 2000, at the initiative of Mental Health First Aid (MHFA - Australia), 4 million people have become mental health first aiders in 26 countries around the world. Participants in Mental Health First Aid courses learn how to quickly identify problem situations, approach people in difficulty and offer them help.
In Luxembourg, the Information and Prevention Center of the Ligue Luxembourgeoise d'Hygiène Mentale holds the international MHFA license to conduct first aid courses in mental health. The training, given over 4 sessions of 3 hours, is conducted in Luxembourgish or French.
