Safe driving of self-propelled mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) on vehicles - Initial training
Art. L.321-8(1) of the Labor Code provides for the obligation of occupational safety and health training focused on the workstation. Art. L.321-8 (5) of the French Labor Code specifies that employees working in hazardous positions must undergo appropriate training and periodic refresher courses in occupational health and safety.
The training presented below follows the program outlined in AAA Recommendation 2.2.4.12 - Equipment Operation.
Objectives
Master the safety rules for the installation and use of a multidirectional aerial work platform on a vehicle.
Know the risks when driving and using this type of aerial work platform and the operations during normal use, emergency use or repair of a vehicle mounted aerial work platform
